Lab alum and Galapawenter Lauren Gregory successfully defended her thesis, “Environmental and genetic contributions to pea aphid phenotypic variation”. Lauren worked in the Brisson lab at Rochester. The main focus of her research was to use the pea aphid’s wing polyphenism as a model to study how genes and environment shape an organism’s form. Frankino served on her PhD committee and is coauthor on one of her chapters. Go Lauren !
