Lab alum Sophia earned her PhD in the Scott lab on Molecular interactions and signaling mechanisms of the oncogenic fusion protein DNAJ-PKAc in fibrolamellar carcinoma, or something like that. She’s currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Lampe lab at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, working on understanding and exploiting tumor-specific protein modifications to develop highly-specific, patient-derived antibody-based therapeutics.
